For the 100 year anniversary of Denmark’s Technical Museum we created a “Wayback Mirror”, giving visitors the chance to interact with a family, going through their morning routine in the late 1950’s. When visitors approach the mirror, it activates, displaying one of the family members, who then asks the visitor to pass them one of the period-specific artefacts: Carmen hair curlers, Braun shaver, home sun tanning booth or hair dryer. When visitors passed the artefacts to the character in the mirror, the character then went through their daily routine.
